About

Glen Isip is a graphic designer who specializes in book design. His experience spans across novels, nonfiction, children’s books, and magazines, though he is probably best known for his work in manga localization as a letterer, production artist, and cover designer.

As a manga production artist he has made significant design contributions to Vertical, Inc.’s releases of Black Jack and The Drops of God, as well as Denpa’s editions of Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack – Beltorchika’s Children, Heavenly Delusion, March Comes In Like a Lion, and The Girl with the Sanpaku Eyes. His work on Mitsuru Adachi’s Short Game led to Denpa receiving a nomination for “Best New Edition of a Classic Manga” in 2025 by the American Manga Awards.

Glen continues to work in the manga industry as a cover and logo designer. He has also taken up creating and publishing books of his own, including Trash 2 Transit for Benchmark Education, and original titles Valentine’s Day and Kelly Ranger. His next project is a redesign of W.E.B. du Bois’ classic The Souls of Black Folk.
